HOW TO MAKE PASTA CARBONARA

How to make Pasta Carbonara

Do you like Italian food? Did you know that the real Carbonara is not made with cream and ham? In fact, in almost every countries, people don't know anything about this real Carbonara. Three years ago, I discovered that the real Carbonara was totally different. Because I lived one year in Italy with many Italian girls, I learned how to cook this new and delicious spaghetti dish. Carbonara is very easy to cook. You only need to get a few ingredients and follow some simple steps.

First, you have to buy the following ingredients: pancetta, eggs, parmesan cheese, and spaghetti. Pancetta is a type of bacon cut into small pieces and is originally from Italy. You can find it at Market of Choice here in Eugene. Eggs, cheese, and spaghetti are easy to find in every grocery store, but I recommend that you buy it in a natural food store such as Capella Market. You also need Extra Virgin Olive Oil, butter and salt (if you want, you can add oregano), but it is possible that you don't have to buy these last things because you already have them in your house.

The second step is to follow the process in making Carbonara as I learned in Italy. First of all, take the eggs (one per person), the parmesan, and a bowl. Crack the eggs and pour them in a bowl, then grate the parmesan and mix the cheese with the eggs in the bowl. Next, bring water to a boil in a pan. At this time, lightly fry the pancetta with a small piece of butter until it is golden brown. Once the water has boiled, add the spaghetti into the pan, pour oil and salt in it, and leave the spaghetti in the pan for eight or nine minutes until the pasta is soft. Then, drain it into a colander in the sink. After that, mix all the ingredients into the pan, remove them, and leave the eggs cooking another two or three minutes. Finally, add a little bit of salt, pepper, or oregano if you desire it.

As you can see, the real pasta Carbonara is a quick and easy recipe. Furthermore, it is not very well known and maybe you didn't know it. So, what are you waiting for? Make Carbonara and share it with your friends. You cannot stop eating it once you try.
